TIG Welder

• Hourly Rate:
  Up to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Overtime paid at Time and a half

• Due to out-of-town location, own transport is essential.

Join a long-established and respected Engineering Manufacturing Company who specialise in building high-quality processing machinery for clients in the UK and internationally.

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for a hands-on role involving TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel materials ranging from 1.0mm to 12mm in thickness. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols.

• Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel, including pipework/purge.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring understanding of tolerances and fabrication techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in production and on-site environments.
• Uphold quality engineering practices in all tasks.

• City & Guilds qualification in Welding and Fabrication or an apprenticeship in an engineering environment preferred.
• Proven experience with stainless steel welding and fabrication.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the following schedule:

• Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime)

Available and compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate for weekdays and Saturday mornings.
