- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including capturing, validation, reconciliation and payroll queries.
- Utilise Sage 300 People to process and validate payroll transactions accurately.
- Investigate and resolve payroll exceptions before finalisation.
- Interpret and apply payroll policies, employment conditions and company remuneration practices.
- Manage UIF administration and monthly EMP
201 validation. - Provide supporting payroll functions for IRP5 processing and reporting.
- Manage IOD administration and case management.
- Administer employee benefits, including capturing, reconciliation and preparation of payment files for Finance.
- Process payroll and benefits data through Sage 300 People and relevant service providers.
- Complete accurate third-party reconciliations.
- Respond to payroll queries within agreed turnaround times.
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll matters and manage escalations appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
- National Senior Certificate / Matric.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a Diploma or Degree.
- Driver's Licence.
- 2-4 years' relevant payroll experience.
- Proven and practical experience using Sage 300 People - mandatory.
- Experience working with complex payroll environments
, preferably involving multiple sites, shifts, custom pay rules and reconciliations. - Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
