Senior Consultant - Operations Excellence

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant specializing in Operations Excellence to join their team in Bloemfontein. In this critical role, you will guide clients in optimizing their operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving significant cost savings. You will work across various sectors in the Free State province, applying best practices in process improvement, lean methodologies, and change management.

This position requires a strategic mindset coupled with a practical, hands‑on approach to implementation, aiming to achieve tangible improvements in client performance.

• Assess current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams through change initiatives, ensuring stakeholder buy‑in and successful adoption.
• Measure and report on the impact of implemented improvements, demonstrating value to the client.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operational consulting, process improvement, or supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus), and other operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach.
