Senior Operations Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Operations Analyst to support their operations team in Bloemfontein . This role will be responsible for analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and providing insights to drive improvements in efficiency and performance. You will work closely with operational leaders to develop reports, conduct complex analyses, and recommend data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background and a passion for using data to solve business problems and enhance operational effectiveness.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key operational metrics and performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand root causes of operational issues and propose solutions.
• Support the development of business cases for operational initiatives and process changes.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement data-driven recommendations and monitor their impact.
• Stay current with industry best practices in data analysis and operational improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as an operations analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of operations management principles and processes.
