The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential risks, implementing preventative measures, monitoring workplace safety, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements- National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
- SAMTRAC or NEBOSH certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Safety Officer, with 4 years experience preferred.
- Valid South African drivers licence and own reliable transport.
- HIRA certification.
- Level 3 Incident Investigation Certificate.
- Fall Protection Planner Certificate.
- SACPCMP registration.
- Valid passport.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate preventative measures.
- Verify that tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Monitor and assess hazardous conditions and unsafe situations.
- Maintain awareness of potential risks and developing safety concerns.
- Ensure the preparation and implementation of the Safety and Health Plan.
- Provide after-hours standby support as and when required.
