Quantity Surveyor

Introduction

Manage project commercials, including estimates, contracts, valuations, cost control and claims for civil works projects.

• Prepare BOQs, tender analyses and subcontract agreements (FIDIC familiarity).
• Measure work, certify progress and maintain cost/value reconciliations.
• Administer change-control and claims; support dispute prevention.
• Report monthly commercial forecasts and cash flows.

• BSc in Quantity Surveying; registered or eligible with SACQSP advantageous.
• 5+ years on civils/infrastructure projects; strong cost systems.
• Proficient in CCS/Candy or similar.
• Must possess strong numerical and analytical abilities, cost estimation competence, budgeting skills, and attention to detail.
• Manage contracts, tender documentation, claims, dispute resolution, and compliance with construction legislation
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, building materials, project phases, and on‑site processes.
• Professional communication with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and facilitate contract negotiations.
• Adherent to ethical conduct and professional standards
• Valid driver’s licence
