Construction Foreman - Civil Infrastructure

Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Construction Foreman to supervise daily operations on various infrastructure projects in the Bloemfontein area. You will be responsible for leading a team of construction workers, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. This role requires strong practical knowledge of civil construction techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage site activities effectively to meet project deadlines and quality standards within the Free State region.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction crew and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress, report any issues or delays to the site manager, and assist in resolving them.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring proper storage of materials and equipment.
• Uphold the company's commitment to safety, quality, and productivity on site.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a supervisory role on civil projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Experience working on projects in and around Bloemfontein is advantageous.
