Construction Manager

Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Construction Manager to lead complex construction projects in Welkom . This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of project execution, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a safe and productive working environment.

The hybrid nature of this role allows for strategic oversight and client interaction combined with essential on-site supervision, ensuring comprehensive project control and successful outcomes.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors, labor, and material procurement.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and cost, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee the contract administration process, including managing variations and claims.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning , scheduling, and budget management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
