Construction Planner - Scale Developments

This role is crucial for the strategic planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project delivery. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules, coordinating with various project teams, and identifying potential risks or delays.

• Develop and maintain detailed master schedules for complex construction projects using planning software.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information for schedule development and updates.
• Identify critical path activities, potential bottlenecks, and risks that could impact project timelines in Bloemfontein .
• Prepare short-term and look-ahead schedules to guide daily and weekly site operations.
• Analyze project progress against the baseline schedule and report on variances and proposed corrective actions.
• Assist in the bidding process by providing input on construction methodologies and timelines.
• Ensure resource leveling and optimize the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and techniques across various disciplines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
