Architectural Designer - Commercial Spaces

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to focus on commercial spaces within their practice in Bloemfontein . You will be involved in designing functional, inspiring, and efficient commercial environments, including offices, retail spaces, and hospitality venues across the Free State province. This role requires a strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, lighting, and branding integration to create unique and successful commercial destinations.

• Design interior and exterior aspects of commercial projects, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Develop conceptual designs, space plans, and detailed drawings for various commercial clients in Bloemfontein .
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture to align with project objectives and client branding.
• Collaborate with project managers and consultants to ensure designs are technically feasible and within budget.
• Prepare presentations and visualizations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the construction phase to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing commercial spaces.
• Proficiency in architectural and design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful commercial design projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and commercial construction practices.
