Architectural Draughtsperson

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsperson to join their team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and documentation under the guidance of architects and technologists. This position is crucial for ensuring that project designs are translated effectively into buildable plans. You will gain valuable experience working on a diverse range of projects within the Free State province, contributing to the successful execution of architectural visions with precision and technical skill, supported by a team dedicated to quality outcomes.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Assist architects and technologists in developing construction documentation sets.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate drawings with consultant information as required.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure efficient archiving of project documentation.

• National Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of Revit or similar BIM software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Good understanding of South African building regulations and construction practices.
