Assistant Librarian NO​/OCJ

REQUIREMENTS :

• Applicants should be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate; no experience is required.
• Matric or equivalent Relevant experience will be an added advantage. Knowledge of library and information science matters, prescripts, legislation, procedures and processes and library services.
• Experience in a legal / law library will serve as an added advantage. A three (3) year National Diploma/Degree in Library Science, Information Science or equivalent qualification will serve as an added advantage.

• Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Customer service oriented.
• Administrative and organizational skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and reliable.
• All shortlisted candidates shall undertake two pre-entry assessments.
• One must be a practical exercise, and the other must be an integrity (Ethical Conduct) assessment.
• All shortlisted candidates shall undertake a pre-entry practical exercise as part of the assessment method to determine the candidate's suitability based on the post's technical and generic requirements
