Early Childhood Development Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and creative Early Childhood Development Educator to join a vibrant preschool in Bloemfontein . This role is dedicated to providing a stimulating and safe environment where young children can learn, grow, and develop essential social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. You will create play-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and a positive introduction to education, playing a foundational role in each child's developmental journey.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities based on early childhood development principles.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Observe and document each child's progress, communicating effectively with parents about their child's development.
• Foster social-emotional growth through guided play, positive reinforcement, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Ensure the physical well-being of children through supervision during activities, meals, and rest periods.

• A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
• Proven experience working with young children (0-5 years).
• Deep understanding of child development milestones and play-based learning methodologies.
• Excellent communication, patience, and nurturing interpersonal skills.
• First Aid certification is preferred.
