About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Educational Consultant with a specialization in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education to join their team in Bloemfontein . You will advise educational institutions on best practices for curriculum development, pedagogical approaches, and technology integration within STEM fields. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess educational needs, develop tailored solutions, and support the implementation of effective STEM programs to enhance student learning outcomes and prepare them for future careers.
You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive educational excellence.
- Conduct needs assessments for educational institutions to identify challenges and opportunities in STEM education
- Develop and recommend strategies for curriculum enhancement, instructional methods, and assessment tools in STEM subjects.
- Advise on the integration of technology and innovative pedagogical approaches to improve teaching and learning in STEM fields.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for educators on effective STEM teaching strategies and resource utilization.
- Support the implementation of new educational programs and initiatives, monitoring progress and providing ongoing guidance.
- Stay current with research and trends in STEM education globally and translate these into actionable recommendations.
- Master's degree in a STEM field or Education, with a focus on STEM education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching or curriculum development within STEM disciplines.
- Proven experience as an educational consultant or in a similar advisory role is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of current pedagogical approaches and technology in STEM education.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams in a hybrid environment.
