Early Childhood Education Lead

Our client is seeking an inspiring Early Childhood Education Lead to guide their educational programs in Bloemfontein, Free State . This leadership position is responsible for setting the educational vision, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and care for young children. You will mentor and support a team of dedicated educators, foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment, and build strong partnerships with parents and the community.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in early childhood education, strong pedagogical knowledge, and exceptional leadership qualities. This is an on-site role requiring full commitment to the educational excellence of our Bloemfontein center.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality early childhood education curricula and teaching strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of early childhood educators, providing professional development and support.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment for all children.
• Oversee classroom activities and ensure adherence to developmental milestones and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with parents to foster a strong home-school connection and communicate children's progress.
• Manage educational resources and materials, ensuring they are adequate and appropriately utilized.
• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in early childhood education.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's development and learning.
• Participate in the recruitment and training of new educational staff.
• Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the educational setting.

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or curriculum development role.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood pedagogy, child development theories, and assessment tools.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire educational teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in curriculum design and implementation.
• Familiarity with educational standards and best practices in Free State .
• Commitment to fostering a child-centered learning environment.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated passion for nurturing young minds and promoting holistic development.
