Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Civil Engineer with a focus on infrastructure projects to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role involves the design, planning, and management of essential infrastructure works, including roads, water systems, and sanitation projects. You will work on critical developments that shape the future of the Free State region, collaborating with government bodies and private developers.

The ideal candidate is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering sustainable and effective infrastructure solutions.

• Design and develop plans for civil infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water supply, and sewage systems.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr.Eng or P.T.D.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management, particularly in infrastructure.
• Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Designer).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and environmental regulations.
