About the Role
Our client is looking for a diligent and skilled Civil Engineer to join their team in Bloemfontein , focusing on vital Water & Sanitation Projects . You will be instrumental in the design, planning, and implementation of essential infrastructure that ensures access to clean water and effective wastewater management for communities. - Design and develop potable water supply systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and distribution networks.
- Plan and design wastewater collection systems, sewage treatment plants, and effluent disposal methods.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and cost estimations for water and sanitation projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of water and sanitation infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and sanitation engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, WaterCAD, SewerCAD).
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, water quality, and treatment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
