Process Safety Engineer - Chemical Industry

Your expertise will be vital in safeguarding operations.

• Conduct comprehensive Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international process safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver process safety training to employees at all levels.
• Review process designs and modifications for safety implications before implementation.

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in process safety engineering within the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements and PHA methodologies.
• Experience with safety integrity level (SIL) assessments and functional safety.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and associated hazards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
