Industrial Engineer II

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer II to join their operational team in Welkom . In this role, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency and productivity of their manufacturing and operational processes. You will analyze data, design optimal workflows, and implement solutions that reduce costs and enhance overall performance. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with production staff and management.

You will contribute directly to the company's success by driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within a challenging industrial setting.

• Analyze production processes, equipment, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Design and implement new or revised operational procedures, layouts, and workflows to optimize throughput and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain process documentation , including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Conduct time studies and work sampling to establish performance standards and identify ergonomic improvements.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and line workers to implement changes and ensure successful adoption.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational efficiency and cost savings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, and experience with CAD software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
