Our client is looking for an accomplished Water Resources Civil Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is essential for the planning, design, and management of water-related infrastructure projects, including supply systems, drainage, and flood control. You will apply your expertise to address critical water challenges and contribute to sustainable water management strategies. The fully remote nature of this position allows for maximum flexibility and engagement with diverse project requirements.
We are seeking a motivated professional with a strong background in hydrology and hydraulics, eager to make a significant impact on water resource development and environmental stewardship from a remote setting.
- Design and analyze water infrastructure systems, including pipelines, treatment plants, dams, and canals.
- Conduct hydrological studies, flood modeling, and risk assessments for water-related projects.
- Develop specifications and construction documents for water resource management projects.
- Manage projects from conceptualization through to construction, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Optimize water resource utilization and implement sustainable drainage solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources or Hydrology.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM) and GIS.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and water management policies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
