Our client is seeking a talented Subsurface Analyst to join their integrated asset team in Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data to provide comprehensive subsurface insights. You will contribute to field development planning, performance monitoring, and optimization of oil and gas assets. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will leverage your analytical skills to enhance resource evaluation and production strategies, supporting the company's operations in the Free State region.

• Integrate diverse subsurface data sets (geological, geophysical, well, production) into cohesive models.
• Assist in the development and refinement of subsurface models for exploration and development projects.
• Analyze production data and performance trends to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Contribute to uncertainty and risk assessments for subsurface evaluations.
• Prepare technical summaries and visualizations of subsurface interpretations.
• Support asset teams in decision-making processes related to field management and development.

• Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in subsurface analysis or related roles within the oil and gas industry .
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Experience with geological or reservoir modeling software is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
