Project Manager - Renewable Energy

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects in the Bloemfontein region. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from site assessment and development through to construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role is crucial for expanding the company's clean energy portfolio and requires a candidate with strong technical understanding, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities Manage the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy projects , such as solar and wind farms. Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, safety standards, and permitting requirements. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency. Prepare progress reports and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Environmental Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, with specific experience in the renewable energy sector. Knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, or other renewable energy technologies.
