About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Industrial Engineer focused on Systems Optimization to join their operations in Bloemfontein . Key Responsibilities- Analyze current operational systems, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies for production lines, logistics, and resource management using industrial engineering principles.
- Utilize simulation and modeling software to test and validate proposed system improvements before implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and management, to ensure successful integration of optimized systems.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented changes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Document system designs, processes, and operational procedures, providing training to relevant personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering role, with a focus on systems analysis and optimization.
- Proven experience with process mapping, data analysis, and system modeling tools.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to approach complex challenges systematically.
