Mechanical Test Engineer

Our client is seeking a meticulous Mechanical Test Engineer to join their product development team in Bloemfontein . This role is central to ensuring product quality and reliability through rigorous testing protocols. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans for mechanical components and systems, analyzing results, and providing actionable feedback to design engineers. • Design and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for mechanical products and systems.
• Set up and operate testing equipment, ensuring accuracy and consistency of results.
• Conduct various tests, including durability testing , performance testing, and environmental testing.
• Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and present findings to the engineering team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test setups and equipment.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to identify areas for product improvement based on test outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical testing and validation.
• Proficiency with various testing methodologies and data acquisition systems.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and calibration procedures.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills , with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing projects simultaneously in Bloemfontein .
