About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Aircraft Component Technician to join their specialized component repair facility in Bloemfontein . This role is essential for ensuring the operational readiness of critical aircraft components through expert repair and maintenance. You will work with a variety of aircraft parts, from landing gear to avionics, applying precise technical skills to restore them to optimal functionality.

This on-site position requires a dedication to quality and precision in a challenging and rewarding aviation maintenance environment.

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft components, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose component malfunctions and failures using specialized test equipment and technical data.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble components according to approved technical data and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including inspection reports, test results, and component history.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex component issues.

• Technical qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aircraft component repair and overhaul.
• Proficiency with specialized tools and test equipment for component repair.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems and component functionality.
