Our client is looking for a highly competent Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Design and Analysis to join their team based in Bloemfontein . This role is vital for ensuring the integrity and safety of various construction projects, from commercial buildings to industrial facilities. You will be responsible for complex calculations, the development of structural plans, and providing technical oversight to ensure designs meet rigorous standards.

- Perform structural analysis and design for building frames, bridges, and other civil structures.
- Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and provide technical support during construction.
- Ensure all designs comply with the latest South African National Standards (SANS) and building regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Review contractor submittals and respond to requests for information during the construction phase.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on structural engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is preferred.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP
2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro). - Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in Bloemfontein .
