Geotechnical Engineer - Mining Operations

• Conduct geological and geotechnical investigations and analysis for mining projects.
• Design and oversee the implementation of ground support systems and slope stability measures.
• Perform risk assessments related to seismic activity, rock mechanics, and mine stability.
• Monitor ground conditions and advise on necessary preventative or remedial actions.
• Develop and manage geotechnical data acquisition and monitoring programs.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and recommendations for mine planning and operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably within the mining industry.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software for analysis and modeling (e.g., Rocscience, FLAC).
• Strong understanding of rock mechanics, soil mechanics, and hydrogeology.
• Experience with geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring techniques.
