Senior 3D Modeler - Product Design

, is seeking a skilled Senior 3D Modeler to contribute to their groundbreaking design projects. This is a full-time contractor position, offering a dynamic and challenging opportunity to work on a variety of cutting-edge products. You will be responsible for creating highly detailed and accurate 3D models from concept sketches, CAD data, and physical prototypes. This role demands exceptional proficiency in 3D modeling software and a keen understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

You will collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate initial concepts into manufacturable 3D assets. Your expertise will be crucial in bringing new product ideas to life with precision and visual appeal.

• Create high-quality, detailed 3D models of new and existing products.
• Interpret 2D drawings, CAD data, and verbal instructions to produce accurate 3D geometry.
• Develop models suitable for various applications including prototyping, rendering, simulation, and manufacturing.
• Apply realistic materials and textures to models for high-fidelity visualizations.
• Optimize model topology and geometry for performance and downstream use.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine models based on technical requirements and aesthetic goals.
• Ensure consistency in modeling standards and file management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve modeling-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest 3D modeling techniques and software advancements.
• Contribute to the development of efficient modeling workflows and best practices.

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler, specializing in product design or industrial design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing detailed and accurate product models.
• Expertise in parametric and direct 3D modeling software (e.g., Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender).
• Proficiency in texturing and material creation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining) and their impact on design.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
