Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to lead in financial function and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience within the insurance or a related regulated industry.

Skills required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA, CPA, or relevant professional certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 3+ years’ finance experience in the insurance sector or a similar regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements relevant to insurance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluency in English and at least one local language (e.g. Afrikaans, isiZulu, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Experience with accounting systems/software, particularly SAGE
• Valid driver's licence
• Own reliable vehicle

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Manage financial reporting, analysis, and month-end/year-end close
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury operations
• Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior management
• Manage and develop the finance team while improving finance processes and controls
• Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports
