Finance Manager - FMCG

Our client, a leading organization in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a highly competent and strategic Finance Manager to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role is critical in managing the financial health of the organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will play a key role in providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making and drive profitable growth.

• Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and enhance internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management to support business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  Professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the FMCG sector .
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing financial teams and driving process improvements.
