Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate of equivalent to NQF
4. - SAMTRAC or NBOSH certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer (Preferred 4 years' experience).
- Valid RSA driver's license with own reliable transport.
- Qualified accident and incident investigator will be advantageous.
- Conduct risk assessment and propose preventative measures.
- Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
- Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Safety and Health plan.
- Stand-by after hours as and when required.
