Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Blockchain Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of projects within their rapidly expanding crypto and blockchain division in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of agile methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and a solid grasp of the unique challenges and opportunities in the blockchain space.

You will be a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, driving progress and ensuring clear communication.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to all relevant parties, including blockchain development teams.

• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing blockchain or cryptocurrency projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management software and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology, DLT, and the crypto landscape is highly advantageous.
