About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their data-focused team in Bloemfontein. In this critical role, you will dive deep into e-commerce data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will be instrumental in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), optimizing website performance, and enhancing the customer journey to boost conversion rates and revenue.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business problems within the digital retail space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to website traffic, sales, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce operations.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving website conversion rates and customer experience.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website elements, promotions, and user flows.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to translate data insights into tangible business improvements.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
