About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and user-centric Lead UI/UX Designer to guide their design team in Bloemfontein . This role is responsible for defining and implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces and experiences across their digital products. You will lead the design process from concept to launch, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to ensure user needs are met and business goals are achieved.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user research, wire framing, prototyping, and visual design, coupled with proven leadership skills. - Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and pain points.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and successful implementation of designs.
- Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Strong understanding of front-end development principles and constraints (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
