About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join their burgeoning analytics team in Bloemfontein . In this critical role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions across various departments. You will work with large volumes of data, develop reports and dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into analytical models and queries, providing data-driven recommendations to inform business strategy.
• Conduct statistical analysis, A/B testing, and other quantitative methods to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Stay current with data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices in the field.

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and programming languages like Python or R.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
