Senior Project Manager - Business Systems

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of business systems in Bloemfontein . This role is integral to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic business objectives through effective technology solutions. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of business system projects, from initial concept and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and user adoption.

This is a prime opportunity for a proactive manager to drive critical system improvements within a significant organization in the Free State.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects related to enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and other core business systems.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the activities of project teams, including internal staff, external consultants, and vendors, ensuring alignment and performance.
• Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth transition and user adoption of new business systems.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on implementing and managing business systems.
• Proven track record of managing complex ERP or CRM implementation projects.
• Deep understanding of business processes across various functional areas (e.g., finance, HR, operations).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Bloemfontein .
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements and project plans.
