Blockchain Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Blockchain Data Analyst to join their growing team in Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for analyzing on-chain and off-chain data to extract valuable insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making within the crypto and blockchain space. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis techniques, proficiency in relevant tools, and a passion for uncovering the stories hidden within blockchain data.

You will play a crucial part in understanding market dynamics and user behavior.

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various blockchain networks and related sources.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics, trends, and insights for stakeholders.
• Identify patterns in transaction data, user behavior, and network activity to inform business strategy.
• Utilize SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Monitor and report on the performance of blockchain protocols and decentralized applications.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to leverage data for campaign optimization and feature development.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, with experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency domain being a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Grafana).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
