Helpdesk Operator

Our client is seeking an organized and customer-focused Helpdesk Operator to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role serves as the initial point of contact for all IT-related support requests, providing first-level assistance to employees. You will be responsible for logging, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to productivity. Working within our Bloemfontein office, you will be part of a dynamic IT department dedicated to supporting our internal users.

• Receive, log, and prioritize incoming helpdesk requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT support teams with detailed information.
• Assist users with password resets, account configurations, and basic software usage.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Create and update IT support documentation and knowledge base articles.

• Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
