Technical Support Engineer - Installation

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Welkom , specializing in the installation and maintenance of critical systems. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can provide expert technical assistance to clients on-site, ensuring seamless integration and operation of our products. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, performing installations, and conducting routine maintenance to guarantee system uptime and client satisfaction across the Free State .

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, contributing to the company's reputation for reliability and excellent customer service in the Welkom area.

• Lead and execute the installation and setup of sophisticated technical systems at client locations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support for complex hardware and software issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
• Document all technical procedures, solutions, and customer interactions thoroughly.
• Train client personnel on the proper use and basic maintenance of installed systems.
• Respond to critical service calls and resolve issues within defined service level agreements (SLAs).

• Proven background as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar field requiring advanced technical support and installation.
• Strong understanding of networking, system integration, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, schematics, and manuals.
