About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Hygiene Assistant to support their operations in Bloemfontein . In this role, you will assist in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities, performing routine cleaning tasks and supporting the broader environmental services team. This position is ideal for an individual who is diligent, thorough, and understands the importance of a clean and safe environment.

You will work under the guidance of the hygiene supervisor, ensuring that all areas meet the required standards. This is a key support role focused on maintaining operational excellence.

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including offices, kitchens, and restrooms.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of cleaning stations and supply management.
• Follow detailed cleaning instructions and schedules to ensure consistency.
• Identify and report any maintenance or cleaning needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support the team with special cleaning projects as needed.

• Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role is advantageous.
