About the Role
Our client requires a skilled and reliable Industrial Cleaner to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and safety at their facility in Welkom . This position involves performing specialized cleaning tasks in industrial environments, adhering to strict health and safety protocols. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of the site, preventing contamination, and ensuring a safe working condition for all personnel.
We are looking for an individual who is safety-conscious, possesses strong practical skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional cleaning services in demanding settings.
- Perform industrial-grade cleaning of machinery, equipment, floors, and production areas.
- Safely handle and dispose of industrial waste, chemicals, and hazardous materials as per regulations.
- Conduct deep cleaning operations, including degreasing, power washing, and sanitizing large surfaces.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
- Adhere to all site-specific safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a similar heavy-duty cleaning role.
- Proficiency in the safe use of industrial cleaning chemicals, solvents, and heavy machinery.
- Thorough understanding of industrial safety standards and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, often in challenging conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving cleaning challenges.
