Our client is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Grain Grader to oversee grain intake, quality control, and silo management in Bloemfontein, Free State. • Technical & Operational Expertise: Full Spectrum Grain Grading, Silo Operations & Maintenance, Raw Material Quality Control, Office & System Administration, and Safety Compliance.

  • Operations Coordination & Prioritizing: Strong ability to coordinate daily silo activities and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Resilience & Coping with Pressure: Proven capacity to remain resilient and work effectively under pressure, especially during peak intake periods.
  • Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision when examining grain samples to guarantee strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Safety Consciousness: A steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe working environment throughout all silo operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4.
• Full spectrum Grain Grader qualification.
• 3 Years' experience working within a silo environment.
• 1 Year's experience in office and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine representative samples of all incoming grain deliveries and accurately grade them according to their specific properties.
• Ensure strict compliance with the minimum standards set for all raw materials received.
• Oversee and ensure the safe storing of graded material within the silo.
• Ensure that all necessary silo maintenance tasks are completed as required to maintain operational efficiency.
