Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations at their facility in Bloemfontein . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant production of pharmaceutical products. You will lead a team of production operators, manage daily production schedules, and ensure adherence to all quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and product quality within a busy production environment.

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules and targets.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production operators.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP , SOPs, and safety regulations in the production area.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the production area.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Thorough understanding of cGMP , pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Bloemfontein .
