About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Welder to join their fabrication team at their workshop in Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding techniques to create and repair products according to precise specifications. This role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in the manufacturing and fabrication industry.

You will contribute directly to the creation of robust and reliable metal structures and components.

• Perform welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Inspect welded surfaces for defects, such as porosity, cracks, or incomplete fusion, and perform necessary rework.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and workplace procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

• Proven experience as a qualified Welder with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes.
• Valid welding certifications (e.g., Red Seal, relevant trade qualifications).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and welding procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
