About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Production Planner to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of production activities to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization. You will be responsible for developing production schedules, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and address any disruptions.

• Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Generate reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and inventory status.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in production planning and scheduling.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and planning software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
