Machine Operator - CNC Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator - CNC Specialist to join their manufacturing team in Bloemfontein . This hands-on role requires precision and expertise in operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines, ensuring adherence to tight specifications and production schedules. This is an excellent opportunity for a proficient operator to contribute their technical skills to a well-established manufacturing firm, working with modern equipment and contributing to the production of critical components in the Bloemfontein area.

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and/or turning machines according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code.
• Perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic requirements.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor maintenance and repairs.
• Optimize machine parameters for efficiency and precision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating various types of CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Experience with quality control procedures and measurement tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is a plus.
