Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join their leading dermatology clinic in Bloemfontein . This critical role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, performing minor dermatological procedures, and providing expert patient care and education. You will work collaboratively with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated NP to contribute to patient well-being in a respected medical practice within the heart of the Free State province.
- Diagnose and treat common and complex dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
- Perform medical procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies.
- Educate patients and their families about skin health, disease management, and preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with supervising dermatologists and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) or equivalent.
- Current, active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialization in Dermatology.
- Board certification in Dermatology NP practice.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dermatology or a related field.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of dermatological issues.
- Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient communication skills.
