Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer to ensure the highest standards of product quality for their manufacturing operations in Bloemfontein . This role is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance by implementing and overseeing rigorous quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for developing quality control plans, monitoring production quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and enhance product reliability.
The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve product design and manufacturing processes.
- Manage and calibrate quality control equipment and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within manufacturing.
- Proficiency with quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma , SPC, and FMEA.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques and using measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
