Stock Controller

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and organized Stock Controller to manage inventory operations for their retail outlet in Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, overseeing receiving and dispatch processes, and ensuring the integrity of inventory data. This role is critical to the efficient functioning of the store, minimizing stock discrepancies and ensuring product availability for customers in Bloemfontein .

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using the company's stock management system.
• Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and immediate processing.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report on stock aging.
• Coordinate with the sales and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock availability and manage stock transfers.

• Proven experience as a Stock Controller , Inventory Clerk, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and general computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
