Sales Lead - Sub Haran Mozambique

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical sales operations across Sub-Saharan Africa
, with a focus on Mozambique, Namibia, and Botswana
. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing a team of 8, including Sales Representatives and a Team Leader, based across the region.
The ideal candidate will be based in Mozambique
, legally authorized to work in the country, and able to travel extensively in line with project requirements.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed business objectives.
• Set clear sales goals and KPIs; monitor performance and provide actionable insights.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform decision-making.
• Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to drive performance.

• Lead, mentor, and support a geographically dispersed sales team.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape across Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor emerging trends and innovations to maintain competitive advantage.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key stakeholders.
• Manage key partnerships and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

• 5–10 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving team success.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
• Must be based in Mozambique and authorized to work in the country.
